Sunday, July 27, 2003NDOP training Coral Secondary School, Pasir Ris--The time has come for Coral Secondary School to practice of their National Day Observation Parade and their Speech Day. It has been a long day for the participants and everyone was excited. Although it is not the first day they have been practicing nor is it the actual day, the participants are ready to go and there is the National Day sprit in the air. Everyone was prepared except for some groups, which has unexpectedly come and participate. Coral Secondary School has also upgraded the school facilities and has made improvement of the surrounding environment. The principle has made improvement only in the school flooring and the school wall. The school flooring had been tiled and therefore unable to be different shade from a hospital and a school. The great big wall has been repainted and the same finish as the previous one. The school wall, as in only one wall, has been painted. It was been painted to different characteristic of Singaporeans and Coralites, as the principle acknowledge Coralites as good Singaporeans. The principle said that people donated money to the school. Most likely, it is to be the SAC or the parents of Coral’s student. It can also be the money raised from last year Speech Day. Ticket was sold at $3 per person. The people who donated the money are most likely to have donated the money because of a reason. And the reason might be to beautify the surrounding and let the Coralites have a better environment to study. Although this might was the main reason why the people donated the money to the school, the principle did not tell the students that that was the reason. However, she said that the people who donated the money to the school was kindhearted people and had done well to the community. The part about them being good to the community is true as the school was bringing down the beauty of the natural surrounding around the school. Let us all hope that Coral Secondary School will have a grand National Day Observation Day Parade as well as a nice and magnificent Speech Day despite the fact that the school has been turned into a hospital. – [ The Joker ] Thursday, July 24, 2003Patriotism Being patriot can be from the extend where people die for the country to placing flags outside their house. That is also a simple way of showing patriotism. But what the problem is that some Singaporeans are so absent minded that they accidentally place their wet laundry on the national flag. This, no me, is an accident but resident has got to be carefully of these accidents. Residence can be charged for not respecting the national flag. But one has got to be on the look out for acts like these and the law is not blind either. The law is reasonable. The Arm Forces, which includes the army, the police, the navy and all government official, has been putting in a lot of effort on the national day parade. Even selected students from the uniform groups have been sent to participate in the grand parade at the Kallang Stadium. Coral has sent four representatives to the grand parade and they are Tham Yi Chun, Ronald Tan, Lim Pei Zhen and Regina Huang. They are from the Coral Secondary School NPCC unit. They are the only four cadets who have been selected to represent the school in something grand. At Coral Secondary School, the school has also put up a parade for the public to see. It is not certain that the public will have to pay entrance fee but as for last year, the public has to pay $3 to view the parade. They have the Guard-Of-Honor contingent consisting of the NCC Part ‘C’ cadet. They consist of Secondary 3 students. For the flag barriers, they consist the Secondary 3s and the Secondary 4s. They will be wearing the same uniform as the Guard-Of-Honor. The Secondary 3 flag barriers are the only cadets that can wear the Number 1 uniform, as they other Secondary 3s have no more chance to wear the Number 1 uniform anymore. The flag party consists of Arief, commander for the flag barriers, Jermiah, Edwin, Clifford, Keith, who will be holding the national flag, Fairdus, carrying the school flag, Ee Kian and Hanafee who will be the escorts. Tarmizi will be hoisting the national flag. - [ The Joker ] Wednesday, July 23, 2003Congratulation Coral Secondary School Special thanks from the press to Coral Secondary School’s Cultural Group and Concert Band. They have made a tremendous effort in getting sliver for Coral and have made the school proud. The SYF (Singapore Youth Festivals) is a competition where every school takes part and tries to win something back for the school. This year, Coral Secondary School has put in a lot of the student time and effort to produce this achievement. They have all done Coral Secondary School proud. Though it had been a hectic year for the Cultural Group, the students came together to practice and rehearse to together. This year SYF was important to the Cultural Group as the seniors are playing it for their first and last time. The seniors consist of the Secondary 3 pupils from express to normal technical students. Every member of the Cultural Group came and rehearsed and the practices were long as the days draw nearer and nearer to the competition date. They had practices after school, which ended at midnight. It was almost the same for the band. The band had many practices and some of the practices were during school hours. They practiced from morning to dusk during Saturdays. Everyone played an important role in the individual groups and thus, giving the school a good reputation which enables the school to go a long way during the long run. Hopefully the Choir can do as well as them or even better then them. Good luck Coral and a the best. - [ The Joker ] Failed Experiment Important news just fresh from the scientists working of animals and humans. This secientists, which work at the Human And Animal Laboratory (HAAL) in Singapore, are found to be very capable and knowledgeable on what they were doing. All other experiments had followed as plan and was formed as predicted. All experiment except one. It was the only failed expermient, which the scientist has conducted. These creatures that are created are called Hunmails. This scientific group was formed in the year 2000. It's main objective is to prove that animals and humans are interrelated with each other, and to create another species and hopefully, form another civillation with involves animals and humans. These species are then created at HAAL. The scientists are all well known in the science world. The HAAL failed experiment was called Experiment D13 L4R. It was to construct a human and monkey Hunmails. The scientists predict that this experiment is going to be the best of all Hunmails but it has turned out into a huge disaster. The Hunmails has supposed to be half human and half monkey. The out come was that the monkey genes were more than the human genes as humans are the evolution of apes. This was the reason why the experiment has gone wrong. Terribly wrong. The HAAL has created a Hunmail and is capable of doing anything a normal human can do. But the only difference is that the appearance and the intellectual level of its mindset and education are therefore lower than the average human. Fortunately, the scientists created Experiment D13 L4R a female. If not, the Hunmail is capable of killing and disturbance of peace in this peaceful society of ours. As the society has not seen any of the Hunmail before, HAAL plead to you not to panic if you happen to come across a Hunmail. They might look terrifying but the HAAL argue the public not to be alarmed and remain calm. Hunmail are trained not to hurt the public but they can be territorial and therefore, it is not wise to trifle with the Hunmails. It would be wise not to let any strangers to enter your hovel. But do not panic. There is only one Hunmail that is on the lose. The Hunmial is Experiment D13 L4R. She was last seen at Pasir Ris. Other information is disclosed to prevent manhunt for the Hunmail. - [ The Joker ] |
